[ddp] libgnetwork1.0-dev : networking wrapper library using Glib/GObject (development files)

Hello,

Today, I'm happy to present you the Debian package libgnetwork1.0-dev,
which is part of the libdevel section, and maintained by Jordi Mallach
<jordi at debian.org>. 

This package contains : networking wrapper library using Glib/GObject
(development files).

The goal of this library is to provide a useful and easy-to-develop-against
sockets wrapper for GNOME2 & GTK+ 2.0 programs which require TCP/IP
connection capabilities. It can be used by programs which do not use GNOME or
GTK+, however. It is NOT recommended or intended for high-load server
situations, just user applications which need TCP/IP networking. Proxies are
supported completely transparently, using the same settings as gnome-vfs.

These are the development files needed to build applications which use
GNetwork.
