Hello,

Today, I'm happy to present you the Debian package denyhosts-python2.4,
which is part of the net section, and maintained by Marco Bertorello
<marco at bertorello.ns0.it>. 

This package contains : an utility to help sys admins thwart ssh
hackers.

DenyHosts is a python program that automatically blocks ssh
brute-force attacks by adding entries to /etc/hosts.deny.
It will also inform Linux administrators about offending
hosts, attacked users and suspicious logins.

Differently from other software that do same work, denyhosts
doesn't need support for packet filtering or any other kind
of firewall in your kernel

This version works with python 2.4
