Hello,

Today, I'm happy to present you the Debian package schoolbell, which is
part of the misc section, and maintained by Debian/Ubuntu Zope Team
<pkg-zope-developers at lists.alioth.debian.org>.

This package contains : web-based calendaring server.

A calendaring server which can be used as a standalone server or a Zope 3
component. This server allows people and resources to have individual and
group calendars.

The calendars are:
 * Shareable
 * Overlayable
 * Access controllable
 * Importable and exportable to iCalendar clients
   (e.g. Apple's iCal or Mozilla Sunbird)
 * Timezone-aware
 * Capable of handling all-day events

Upcoming events can be provided using an Atom feed.

All of this is accessible through a web interface which is simple, powerful
and beautiful.

For developers SchoolBell offers:
 * Re-usable calendaring Zope 3 components.
 * iCalendar parser.
 * Rigorous functional and unit testing.

Enjoy!

This package contains the configuration and the binaries to run a standalone
SchoolBell server.
