Hello,

Today, I'm happy to present you the Debian package
libproc-background-perl, which is part of the perl section, and
maintained by Chip Salzenberg <chip at debian.org>. 

This package contains : Generic interface for Unix and Win32 background
process management.

This is a generic interface for placing processes in the background on
both Unix and Win32 platforms.  This module lets you start, kill, wait
on, retrieve exit values, and see if background processes still exist.
