Today, I'm happy to present you the Debian package liblualib40-dev,
which is part of the libdevel section, and maintained by Daniel
Silverstone <dsilvers at debian.org>. 

This package contains : Extension library for Lua 4.0: static and
headers.

This package allows you to link to the Lua standard libraries
providing maths, string and IO functions to your lua based programs.
