Manoj tells me he has proposed sanitising debian by ridding it of perl.
This email is to second his proposal.  I feel perl's "there's more
than one way to do it" attitude to be offensive and harmful to young,
inexperienced programmers and could seduce them down a dark path.
As it stands, perl is inappropriate to be on the box my brother uses.
